Firsts
First sippy cup, first sweet potatoes...
The first time I fed Thomas solid food (if you count watery "cereal" food), he couldn't get enough. After that night, he's refused to open his mouth to cereal and wouldn't even try applesauce or pears, though for some reason he's permitting a teeny bit of sweet potatoes to pass through those discriminating lips. I'd rather not nurse the child until he's five, so he better start eating real food soon. He does grab any food I dare to eat in his presence and has come very close to stuffing my pretzels, chocolate, and Diet Coke in his mouth, so maybe he's just holding out for the good stuff.
These boys are precious together. Thomas smiles and laughs at Will more than at any other person, and I melt when Will hugs (i.e. lays on and nearly suffocates) Thomas and offers his version of "I love you brother." I LOVE watching them interact. Though we still need to teach our eldest that the baby does need to breathe from time to time and might not want to be sat on or used as a landing strip for helicopters.

When he saw T wearing a sun hat, W didn't want to miss out on the hat action. A snow cap in May--why not?!
